About us

The face behind the account…………..

 

Ever since I was a child, I always wanted a dog and for my 13th birthday my dad and mam bought me a beautiful black Labrador whom I named Max. I was told to walk him every day and I did, 3 or 4 times a day! This is how my passion for dogs began.

I completed an Animal care course at Houghall College once I left school and gained a Level 1 Diploma in Land Based Studies (Animal Care).

I also completed work experience in a pet shop and had a part time job as a Dog Groomers Assistant as well as a voluntary role dog walking for a local kennels.

I have a disability, and this affects my communication skills, I do struggle to hold conversations with people and sometimes my written communication isn’t the best but I am working on my English skills with a tutor.

I like to set myself challenges and 3 years ago I passed my driving test and now have my own car.

On the 7th of May 2021 Max went to heaven, he was 11 years old and I missed those daily walks. So, I decided that I would like to become self employed and set up my own dog walking business. I have worked with The Princes Trust and gained a Level 1 award in Exploring Enterprise and have now gone live with my business.  

I would love the opportunity to now grow my customer base and take on more bookings.
